When designing a piece of furniture like this computer desk it is important to keep in mind some fundamentals regarding proportions and practical dimensions. However, these sometimes can interfere with the creation of something unusual that might best suit a unique situation. A situation where standard will not work. This computer desk/side board was made to fit the space in which it now resides. The Dimensions provide a work space that doesn’t intrude into the room. Using a slight taper and a waterfall effect, the Elm’s grain flows across and down the tables leg seamlessly. A hidden Glass shelf allows a laptop/tablet to be stored out of sight.  Computers have become very Sleek and shallow, requiring a lot less storage space. It is about time the furniture world catches up.

A hand painted Kitchen dresser with a solid Scottish oak top. Hand cut dovetailed drawers and shaker style doors. These kitchen dressers have invisible soft close drawer runners. While slightly more expensive they are a quality product and show off the craftsmanship. Farrow and Ball paint is advised to clients as their colour chart is full of great options that match in beautifully with many different hard woods. The paint is hard wearing and will maintain its colour for years to come. Hand painting these units gives an aesthetic quality that a spray finish cannot achieve.
